We invite our members and conference attendees to participate in our 1st ever silent auction event to be held during the 2026 Joint NCAUG/NCPMA Conference in New Bern. All the proceeds from the auction will go towards the NCAUG Student Scholarship fund which supports the education and development of the next generation of geospatial professionals!

 

How it Works:

NCAUG will be accepting donations of auction items from our members and conference attendees for entry in the auction. Some examples of items for donation include:

 

• Gift Baskets

• Hand-crafted items

• Local food & drink

• Desirable products (coolers, tech, collectables, etc.)

• Hotel/Timeshare stays

 

Donated items will be put on display during the conference for attendees to place individual bids throughout the auction timeline. A minimum bid amount will be set for each item and multiple bids for each item will be accepted during the auction period. At the end of the auction period, the person with the highest bid for each item will win the item and settle their account to receive their winning item.

 

Due to space restraints at the conference site, auction will be limited to 25 entries.

Rules

• Auction donations must be delivered to the registration desk between 8:00am – 1:00pm, Wednesday Sept. 29.

• Auction items must have a ‘market value’ of a minimum of $40. Perceived dollar value of each entry item will be set by the person donating the item.

• A minimum bid increment of $5 will be set for each entry item

• Bidders may place bids on multiple items in the auction at one time.

• Auction will end at 6:00pm on Thursday Oct. 1st

• Winners will be announced at the Sponsor Social Thursday Night, Oct. 1st.

• Winners MUST collect their items and pay by 10:00am on 10/2/26
