Make plans to participate in our Third Annual Battle of the Geomaps. Prizes will be presented to the winners and may include cash or a free one-year membership to the Users Group.

The guidelines are as follows:

• There are three categories for the contest:
o Academic (teachers and professors);
o Students (elementary through college); and
o Government and non-profit entries.

• A map is defined as a product that must include one actual map and solves a problem faced by the user community or public at large.

• Maps may be no larger than 24” x 36” in size and should be adhered to poster board or foam core board.

• All entries must include a digital copy of the map to allow the map to be posted to the website. The digital copy must be submitted by August 31, 2011. Voting by attendees will take place during the Conference.

• All entries must include a description of the map including the problem solved.

• Organizations may submit more than one entry while individuals may only submit one entry.

• Participants are encouraged to claim their maps at the conclusion of the conference.
