NCAUG 2014 Fall Conference
The North Carolina ArcGIS User Group (NCAUG) would like to announce the 2014 NCAUG Fall Conference, taking place September 3rd - 5th, 2014 in Carolina Beach, North Carolina.  We would like to make the official “Call for Presentations” for the Conference.

As in the past, the conference plans are well under way for informative and inspiring workshops, technical sessions, and user presentations.   We have several exciting events planned as part of the conference, intended to provide a fun and informative atmosphere for networking and continuing education. Once again, we will hold our 5K NCAUG walk/run event. On Thursday evening, we will have the annual vendor reception, followed by an off-site banquet.

Also again this year is our ever popular Wednesday night Sunset Boat Cruise, Beach Volleyball, and the Student Scholarship Cash Raffle.  Of course this is all in addition to the diverse selection of excellent presentations and exhibits showcasing the latest in GIS technology.  As always, we will have MANY door prizes.
The Sixth Annual Battle of the GeoMaps contest will take place, and we are currently planning on several workshops:  Introduction to Geoprocessing Scripts using Python, ArcPad 10.2 for Mobile GIS, ArcGIS in the Cloud:  Migrating from a Legacy GIS System to a Fully Integrated Cloud Environment with proceeds benefiting the NCAUG Student Scholarship Fund.

In addition to offering low-cost training, we have negotiated the lower hotel rates than last year for this facility at $89 a night.  All the meals will be provided while you are at the Conference, including light hors d'oeuvres on the Sunset Boat Cruise, Thursday continental breakfast, lunch and Banquet Dinner, and Friday continental breakfast.

For more information about the 2014 NCAUG Fall Conference, including the map contest, our Conference flyer, registration forms, and hotel information, please see other pages of our website.  If you have any questions about the Conference in general, please contact the Conference Chair, Tom Bell, at .  Questions about Presentations can be directed to the Program Coordinator, Robin Merry, at robinmerry@co.

Thanks for your attention and support of the NCAUG!  We look forward to seeing you at the Fall Conference!
